Advice for Newlyweds: What To Do When One of You Is a Virgin on Wedding Night

By Francesca Di Meglio, About.com

If one of you is a virgin on your wedding night, the other must show sensitivity and understanding. The spouse who has never made love will undoubtedly feel a bit scared and maybe even shameful. If your wife is the virgin, she might also feel discomfort or even pain the first time. Try to keep from getting frustrated. Help your spouse feel at ease. Answer questions he or she might have, and be willing to talk about anything. Be natural and make your spouse understand that you love him or her and want his or her first experience with sex to be a special one. Make love with love and you should have no troubles at all.
