Relationship Profile:

Jenna Fischer most famous for her role on NBC's The Office, has been with actor and writer Lee Kirk since January 2008. The two got engaged in August 2009 while on vacation in Europe. Fischer and Kirk first stepped out together publicly at the September 2008 Emmy Awards. Although this is a first marriage for Kirk, 37, Fischer, 35, was married to writer/director James Gunn from 2000 to 2007, when they divorced. Kirk and Fischer wed one week before Fischer's co-star and on-screen husband John Krasinski married Emily Blunt.

The Wedding:

While planning the wedding, Fischer told People that besides family and friends, food was the most important part of a wedding. She reportedly spent extra time choosing a caterer for the affair, but little else is known about the wedding. It took place in Malibu. Close family and friends attended, including Fischer's Office co-star Rainn Wilson, who commented on the beauty of the day on Twitter.

The Honeymoon:

Like many of the secretive celebrity newlyweds of late, Fischer and Kirk did not share plans of a honeymoon with the public. But all hope they were able to have a romantic wedding night together.

What the Press Say about Them:

Since this pair is guarded about their relationship, the press has little to say about them except that they seem to be in love. Even Fischer's first marriage and divorce, both of which seemed to go smoothly, spent little time in the media.

What We Learn from Them:

When celebrity couples are this secretive, it's hard to learn much from them. But Fischer did say that Kirk was her "cute boyfriend" when she stepped out with him publicly for the firs time, which I thought was a lesson for us all. She gave her boyfriend, who is less famous than her, an ego boost and shared with the world just how great she thinks he is. That's something we all should be doing for our spouses. Tell your husband or wife exactly what you think of him or her -- and then share it. We can never get enough compliments from the one we love.
