A student of painting and fashion design, Stephanie London combined her love of art and clothes into a business. Today, she creates paintings and drawings of wedding dresses, for newlyweds who want to honor, London says, their wedding day in a unique way. Sometimes, these works of art are commissioned by friends or relatives or the groom himself as gifts for the bride.

After falling five stories from a building and spending a full year recovering, London decided she wanted to marry her two loves -- painting and dresses. In 2004, her business was born. Wedding dresses were a natural fit because they are the most important and special piece of clothing a woman wears in her life. (While this is true, London has had a few clients request art work of Christening outfits.) Here, she offers examples of her drawings and paintings, which brides have displayed on tables at their wedding and grooms have given to their brides as anniversary gifts:
