Guide Review - Kodak Photo Calendars: Pros and Cons
When my husband and I first started dating, I made a photo calendar for him. I printed out the photo and calendar pages using Print Shop and then bound them together with a plastic spiral. After our wedding, vow renewal, honeymoon and family reunion, he decided that I should make a calendar for this year using photos from all these glorious celebrations. Five years later, I know of more options when it comes to photo calendars. Since I had a great experience creating holiday/thank you cards with photos from our wedding for everyone who celebrated our marriage on Kodak.com, I decided to turn to the site for the photo calendar, too.

From the start, I was impressed with the options I had. There were a variety of backgrounds for the photo calendar -- from the colorful and the cheery to the subtle and sophisticated. Uploading your pictures is not difficult, but it does require patience because it takes time. I used a mix of photos from my digital camera and those taken by photographers at our wedding and vow renewal celebrations, but they were all good quality photos, which is why it might have taken some time to upload.

One of the best things about the Kodak calendars is that you can choose the months for your calendar. In other words, you don't have to start with January and end with December. My husband's name day is coming up in June, so I made his photo calendar as his gift, and I chose to have the calendar cover June 2009 to May 2010. One could do the same for an anniversary, so the calendar literally covers from the month you were married to the month before your anniversary.

Choosing where to put each picture is up to you, or you can have the site place the images automatically. It takes just minutes. You also get to choose an image and some text for the cover. You can keep it humorous or make it a serious statement of love.
