I recently caught a clip online of a couple who got married in 2001, when they were both in their 70s and living in a retirement home. They had both lost their first spouses and found comfort in one another. They enjoyed spending time together, so they decided to wed. What's lovely about this story is that they are now 87 and 92 and still in love. They admit that the marriage keeps them vibrant and prevents loneliness in their twilight years. And I think watching them doing a crossword puzzle together was about the cutest thing I've seen all year. What do you think about marriage the second time around as elderly people?

I always thought it to be a betrayal to your first spouce and your children
but i am sure it helps you live longer and healthier to have someone and it helps your children they do not have to worry that you are lonely
