Many a best man and maid of honor has spent hours coming up with the right words for a wedding toast. As a result, there's all sorts of advice on how to write a wedding toast. But few of us get the same kinds of tips for crafting a lovely toast for a happy couple on their anniversary. Still, it's a job we sometimes have to do. Sometimes, we just want to toast our own love on our anniversary. I have had to toast both an engaged couple and my grandparent's on their 50th anniversary. I usually employed some sort of gimmick - either a poem or the use of other family members - to make the toast memorable and fun. Now, I've written up a few general anniversary toasts for all of you. I implore you to use these suggested toasts as the base for your own ideas. Personalize them, and try out a gimmick or two. You just might like it.
