Dreaming of feeling like a princess after your wedding by staying in Cinderella's Castle at Walt Disney World? Well, actually, you can dream on. Few people ever get to stay at the luxurious room in the Disney castle. A few families that won contests and some VIPs, such as Tom Cruise and his little one and a Jonas brother and wifee on their first wedding anniversary are among the reported lucky ones. I just finished up a week-long vacation at Disney, where I saw numerous couples fashioning bride and groom Mickey and Minnie ears to indicate they were on their honeymoon, which got me thinking that the resort could make a stay in the room part of a luxurious honeymoon package. Bet they'd have a lot of takers.

Still, even if Disney World doesn't take my advice, you can still plan a honeymoon fit for royalty. You can simply search for castles that are now hotels. There are lots of them in Europe. In fact, I spent my first anniversary in Castello Aragonese in Ischia in Italy. It was quite an experience - and very romantic. As I mention in a new article, "Best Honeymoon Sex Tips," the hotel or wherever you plan to stay during your honeymoon is even more important than the destination itself. After all, a honeymoon is for making love, and you need the right home front to set the right mood for romance.

I think I’ll pass on Cinderella’s Castle. It just wouldn’t feel right to have sex there!

Castles are romantic, for sure – unless they’re youth hostels. Then, they’re just plain fun. We stayed in a youth hostel in Koblenz, Germany, that is located inside a castle. Our room was very, very basic, but we had fun meeting the families, business travelers and students who were staying there!

I saw something about honeymooners staying in the Downton Abbey building. That would be more my cup of tea.
