Now Is the Time

By December 31, 2012

Follow me on:

Today is New Year's Eve, and I woke up with the lyrics to song from Disney's Carousel of Progress in my head. "Now is the time, now is the time, now is the best time of your life." It's true, you know? Even if you are low and things have gone wrong for you lately, sometime down the future - maybe when you're old and gray - you'll probably be nostalgic for something about this era in your life. Perhaps, you'll wish you still had your own teeth like you do now. Or you'll long for a friendship that you will lose down the road. Or you'll miss the bliss of being newly wed. Recognize that even if today seems bad, there's something about it that will seem wonderful years from now. Appreciate 2012 and look forward to 2013. If you start the year with a smile on your face, you might find that smile showing up more and more often. This is good for your marriage and for you. If you want to do more for your marriage in the coming year, consider reading some of the recent work posted to this site:
