Cheating Women

People seem to always be talking about men who can't keep it in their pants. But we rarely discuss women who cheat on their spouses. Although men are more likely to cheat than women, it still happens sometimes. And the mean who are cheated on feel hurt and insecure just as women do when it happens to them, but men can't talk about it.

Recently, an article on Asylum.com talked to men who caught their girlfriend or wife cheating. They shared their stories and their feelings. Their experiences will resonate with women, I think. One of them immediately kicked the woman -- and all her stuff -- to the curb. Another, who found out the baby he thought was his was not, is having trust issues now that the relationship is over. One guy tried to make the relationship work despite the infidelity because his girlfriend said she wouldn't do it again, but she was lying.

What intrigued me about the article was finally getting to hear the other side of the story. It was interesting to know that men and women, especially those scorned, aren't all that different. The range of emotions and turmoil brought on by cheating seem to affect men and women similarly.

It isn’t surprising to me that men and women have similar reactions when they find their spouse has been cheating. After all, it is a devastating rejection, and all of us as humans feel that rejection keenly.
