Wordless Wednesday - Valentine's Day Gift Idea

This morning, the personalized m&ms I purchased as a birthday gift for Ludovica, a friend of mine, arrived. She was born on Valentine's Day, so I picked out red and pink m&ms. On one side of each piece of chocolate, she will see the traditional "m" and on the other side, she will read either "Auguri Ludovica", which means "Fortune for Ludovica" and is a traditional birthday greeting in Italian, or "Lu Loves New York" because she has fallen in love with this American city.

Our friend Ludovica happens to be a major chocolate lover and a big fan of m&ms. But I realized that this would be a delicious gift for your husband or wife on Valentine's Day or your anniversary, too. You could write a loving message on the m&ms and choose his or her favorite colors. It's a romantic gesture if your spouse is a chocolate lover. You can even pick different kinds of packaging. Although I love the concept and I'm pleased with the gift, it is a little costly. It cost a little under $30 in total for a seven-ounce package of m&ms and its shipping. What Valentine's Day gift ideas do you have?

Personalized M&Ms, that’s a cool gift idea! In San Francisco you can buy personalized fortune cookies, but of course that’s not as romantic.

How cute! I’ve seen ads for these but didn’t know how the finished product would look. What a fun gift idea.

I love those! I’m still figuring out what to do. I’m trying to find a way to keep the gifts “green”.

My husband usually makes me lovely, humorous valentine cards with the valentine as part of the human anatomy. I’m been trying to find those Perugina baci choclates locally for his Valentine.

Is there any better candy than M&Ms? Love that they now personalize them.

We had these made as our wedding favors, in our wedding colors with one of our engagement photos printed on them!

What a clever idea. I remember the little candies with love sayings on them when I was a kid, but it’s cool that you can get something personalized.

ROFL… At my age, my first thought is “Do they make personalized vitamins?” ;)
