Every Halloween, D & D Landscaping in northern New Jersey, which is run by my parents, creates a festive Halloween scene in front of my apartment. The neighborhood kids, all my little cousins, and even us adults take photos in front of the scene for Halloween. This is the kind of thing you can do at your home. Pumpkins and mums are fairly inexpensive -- and pumpkin picking is a fun date for husband and wife. Many dollar stores sell the scarecrows and witches you see in the photo above. Even if you're a renter, you can decorate your door or the front entrance of your apartment in a less elaborate way.
There's not much to this kind of scene. All you have to do is buy the items and display them in a decorative and neat way. You are limited only by your imagination. In fact, we use the same items every year, but we display them in a different way, so that it never looks exactly like the year before. And we remove the Halloween items and leave the pumpkins, flowers, hay, and kale until Thanksgiving. There are lots of other ways to decorate for Halloween. About.com also offers lots of tips and ideas for decorating and celebrating Halloween. Don't forget that Halloween doesn't have to be scary. It can be cute and fun and even romantic.

What an awesome pumpkin patch in your apartments, awesome, I bet everyone really enjoys it. I went ahead and linked this post up to my pumpkin roundup!
