Matt Katz, who is a reporter and was a columnist writing about the single life in southern New Jersey, proposed to his bride Deborah in the pages of New Jersey magazine at the end of an article about his career. It was rather brilliant because it at the same time announced to his readers that the dating guru was no longer single and surprised Deborah, who happily accepted his proposal when she read the magazine.
Those who have read Matt's columns know that this is a couple who wants to have fun and is comfortable teasing one another -- and the photo above captures that part of their relationship perfectly. Married since 2008, Matt is working as a reporter in Philadelphia. His advice to other newlyweds: "Buy each other Snuggies and cuddle."
