Egypt's Sunken Treasures Wedding
The 5-meter-high statues Hapy, Pharaoh, and Queen that stand above the newlyweds in this photo are part of the Egypt's Sunken Treasures exhibit that will remain open in Japan until Sept. 23, 2009. It is the first time these artifacts are being seen outside of Europe, according to Getty. One couple's wedding destination is another's honeymoon. Visiting Hapy, Pharaoh, and Queen seem like a good reason to choose Japan as a honeymoon destination this summer. Where did you go on your honeymoon? Or where are you planning to go? Or where do you dream of going?

We went to California wine country and Fort Ross on our honeymoon…we were made honorary Texans!
What a beautiful picture
hopefully the marriage lasts as long as the
artifacts!
Oooooo!!! How absolutely wonderful to be able to have such priceless artifacts as part of your wedding decor! And I love the idea of being surrounded by history as you begin your history together as a married couple.
Somehow we managed 30+ years of marriage with out a honeymoon guess that means the honeymoon isn’t over yet LOL
Wow! Quite the setting!
My honey is an RV technician, so for our honeymoon, his boss let us take a brand new motorhome (22′ or so) to travel around in. We had the best, most relaxing, wonderful honeymoon. Loved it! That was almost 23 years ago!
