Money On Your Mind?

Monday July 6, 2009
Money seems to be worrying everyone these days. Newlyweds, many of whom go into debt to pay for their weddings and try to grow a nest egg, are among the first to look for ways to save. What most people don't realize is that simply putting away 10 percent of their paycheck each time they get paid can really help. Another way to make a big improvement on the amount of money you save is to start brown bagging your lunch and cutting out extras, such as those stops to the coffee shop. Trying to come up with new sources of income -- from freelance projects to purchasing a home or apartment that you can rent to someone else -- is a great way to create a cushion for the unexpected.
