How to Throw a Party
Friday July 3, 2009
I'm in the mood for a party, a big fourth of July barbecue, perhaps. But I'm in Italy, where the fourth of July is just like any other day, and I don't have necessities, such as a kitchen of my own, to throw a memorable feast. However, once I return to my all-American digs in New Jersey, I'll be able to throw a party or two or three.
As a newlywed, I am still learning how to entertain guests with panache. That's why I recently researched some of the resources available on About.com for those who need advice on party planning, etiquette, creating a menu, making invitations, and having fun with guests. I compiled my fun findings in the "Newlyweds Guide to Entertaining", which I think will serve as a valuable resource for me -- and all of you. There's still a little bit of time to throw together a fourth of July bash. Just do it!
