Photo Sharing for Newlyweds
Photo sharing sites are a salvation for newlyweds, who want to easily share pictures from their wedding and honeymoon with loved ones. My friends, including a couple who just returned from their honeymoon and another who just gave birth to her first child, sent out photo slide shows on Kodak. I have really enjoyed scanning their photos. The only glitch is that some photos take a little while to load and might slow you down. Other friends and family have sent out pictures of everything from their weddings to a photo diary of a trip to India through sites such as snapfish or Facebook or as attachments in e-mail.
I myself sent pictures of the events leading up to our wedding and vow renewal and the main events themselves through our wedding Web site on Wedding Window. The site comes down three months after the wedding, but you can purchase a CD as a keepsake, which I did. And creating the site couldn't be simpler or more fun. Then, I used MyPublisher to make a photo album for some of our guests who traveled from Italy for the vow renewal. The good news is that the invention of the Internet had made it easy for newlyweds to document their lives and share the photos they collect -- from the bridal shower to their first child -- with their friends and family.

Check out SeeYouThen.COM, they have wonderful ideas in their free report to save money and about how to collect a ton of photos!
Its a much cheaper route than disposable cameras and everyone will have fun at every event. We did it and collected over 700 photos and got them all back as high res original digital photos. Tons of fun and cheap too.
Good Luck!
Thank you for the mention. So glad to hear that you have enjoyed your wedding website! Best wishes.
Amy,
Thanks for leaving a comment. Yes, the wedding window website worked really well for me. I maximized its potential by adding lots of links, including song dedications for each member of the bridal party with links to the music video on youtube, photo albums, and lots of information about the wedding events and travel. The blog was also great for keeping in touch with my friends and relatives as we planned two weddings in two countries. The one disappointment was the keepsake CD. It doesn’t always load and I often don’t see the images I had placed on the page when I open the CD. Are you planning to remedy that in any way? I’m sure my readers would love to know. Thanks, Francesca
Also check out The Wedding Lens. It’s a wedding photo sharing site that helps newlyweds collect all the photos from their guests into 1 online album. You can collect an unlimited number of photos and bulk download them in full-resolution.
