Valentine's Day Your Way
The holidays are behind us until next year, which means the stores have started shoving pink and red hearts down our throats. I'm actually a big fan of Valentine's Day and any excuse to celebrate love. But I'd like to celebrate on my own terms in a way that best suits my husband and me. One of my cousins and her husband often celebrate happenings in their life by ordering Kentucky Fried Chicken and eating it with champagne on fine china. I love that about them because it shows that they do their own thing, make their own traditions, and find fun ways to connect. I urge all of you to do the same on Valentine's Day. You have a whole month to plan for it. No excuses.
