Time with Friends and Family Can Help Your Marriage

Saturday October 18, 2008
There's something about the weekend in fall that has me thinking about spending time with family. While my husband and I need our alone time, we also need time away from each other to tend to our other relationships. This is necessary for creating a full life, and it will help make you a better husband or wife.

Today, the boys are on their own at my house. I have my bridesmaids (and their moms because many of them are little girls) coming over for lunch to thank them for all they have done for me. And it is a way for me to unwind and do something nice for those special to me. Having other people in your life creates a support system that feeds you and your spouse. It helps you deal with stress, which takes pressure off your relationship with your husband or wife. Love breeds love -- and that's always great for your marriage.

Time is definitely great for the marriage, especially when kids are involved and they help out the couple by giving them some time together.
I’ve added you to my list of blogger friends!
Looking forward to reading more of your posts!
