Marriage Is Forever

Wordless Wednesday Wedding
The commercial for diamond engagement rings might as well say "marriage" is forever. Whether it's a diamond or a plastic ring from a Cracker Jack box, when you slip that ring on the finger of your beloved, you are making a promise to stand by him or her through thick and thin, sickness and health. It's not easy, and I don't pretend to have all the answers. I am less than a month away from my wedding, and I'm terrified. I love my Antonio, but I have no idea what life will throw at us, how we'll communicate, how much our families will influence and interrupt our lives, or what challenges lie ahead for us. At every corner, there's something that could break us up.
As I accept that ring on the altar in front of God and our friends and family, I'll be agreeing to fight to keep our marriage alive no matter what comes our way. Antonio and me -- we may fail. But we must do our best to remember that marriage is forever and we loved each other enough to fight to get to the altar. I'm sure the same is true for Atit Javeri and Aditi Saraiya (in the photo). Today, I salute them and newlyweds everywhere who are putting all their heart and soul into making a marriage that lasts right from the start.

What a pretty photo and color scheme. Happy WW!
Those gorgeous colors make me want to zoom out and see the rest of the scene.
Beautiful, and I don’t just mean the photo! Thanks, Francesca!
Beautiful photo. Love is in the air
Beautiful wedding clothes. What country/culture is this?
I love all of the bracelets and ornamentation on the bride.
