Newlyweds Walking on Water

Wordless Wednesday Wedding

Tiziana Scotti and Enzo Damiano get married on the beautiful island of Ischia, off the coast of Naples, Italy. The two appear to be walking on water after taking their vows. © Photo courtesy of Tiziana Scotti

Tiziana Scotti and Enzo Damiano appear to be coming out of the water just moments after they took their wedding vows on the island of Ischia in Italy. This image has me thinking of marriage as rebirth, an opportunity to start anew with your love. A wedding is a chance to promise faithfulness and eternal love, and it's also the beginning of a new chapter in your relationship. This means that you can think of your wedding day as a clean slate and an opportunity to improve yourself and therefore your relationship. As newlyweds, you can work to be more romantic, demonstrate your love more often, support your spouse, and plan for the future together. Doing these things will help you avoid divorce court and be happy. It won't be easy but it can be done!

You only wear a wedding gown once so I don’t suppose it matters if you ruin it in the water. Looks like a good relax-a-wedding.

I like weddings by the water. I have some friends who were married on a beach in New Zealand. The pictures are beautiful.
