Romance 101

Friday June 27, 2008
As my soon-to-be husband and I plan our nuptials, romance and passion are sort of going out the window. They are giving way to stress and grief in our worst moments and sleep in our best moments, which are become rarer by the minute. I'm disappointed by this lack of romance (not to mention the fact that we're letting wedding planning cause such stress and take away from the greater meaning of what we're doing). To make up for our errors and get us back on the right track, I'm going to write a love note to my almost husband today. I'll remind him of why I said yes when he asked me to marry him. I truly believe that to have an enduring marriage, you must continue to court and woo one another long after the walk down the aisle.

What do some of you do to keep the romance and passion alive in your marriage? Let us know by leaving a comment below or in the Newlywed Forum.
